Ms. Aiello continued the success of Spring Hill Elementary School through a student-centered approach that personalized learning and development of the staff. The school implemented programs such as the advanced academic curriculum integration and the Positivity project. Her outreach to the community fostered ongoing collaboration with families and community members. In addition, Ms. Aiello has frequently served and contributed to the school division through her participation on division-wide committees. She is a life-long learner who has sought internally and externally to enhance her own knowledge and skills through programs such as the Harvard University Project Zero innovation design.
Ms. Aiello holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Mercyhurst College and a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Virginia Tech.
Ms. Aiello is excited and honored to return to Hutchison Elementary as principal. She looks forward to maintaining and advancing the academic success as well as embracing the community’s commitment to education.
I am thrilled to be serving as an Assistant Principal at Hutchison Elementary. Prior to becoming an Assistant Principal at Hutchison during the 2018-19 school year, I served as a District Director for AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) as well as a Dean of Students in Manassas City Public Schools. I began my teaching career in Fairfax County Public Schools where I taught Health and Physical Education for 7 years. Long before I began a career in education, I grew up in Herndon and attended both Herndon Middle and Herndon High School.
I believe that all students can achieve high levels of success. It is also my belief that families must partner with teachers to support students and encourage them to fulfil their aspirations. I am looking forward to continuing to serve the Hutchison Community. Your child’s learning experience will be my focus each day.
The Hutchison ES community is devoted and I am proud to be a Hutchison Eagle. I am coming to Hutchison ES with a long history with and passion for Title I schools. I began my career in FCPS as a special education teacher. After twelve years, I transitioned to the role of Instructional Coach. Bringing best practices to the classroom (in person and virtually) and seeing the impact is inspirational. This is my third year as an administrator and I am excited to be experiencing it alongside you.
I am very excited to be a part of the Hutchison Eagle family this year. I am coming to you with diverse experiences from multiple schools and division-wide teams. As a result of my experiences, I bring knowledge and energy to share with you, our students, families and partnerships.
I am looking forward to working together to have a successful school year.
