Message from the Principal

Summer break is just around the corner, but we still have some exciting learning adventures left in this school year!

To ensure a smooth and successful end, we encourage all students to continue following school expectations and routines these last few days. This includes things like:

  • Regular attendance: Being in class allows students to participate fully and avoid missing important information.
  • Completing assignments: Finishing strong demonstrates commitment and helps solidify learning.
  • Following classroom rules: This creates a positive learning environment for everyone.

By working together, we can ensure a fantastic finish to the school year! We appreciate your continued support in helping your child reach their full potential.

End-of-Year Academic Screener Score Reporting for Families

Family score reports for most spring assessments will be centrally distributed to families through SIS ParentVUE, with central mailing ongoing for VKRP assessments. Schools continue to have responsibility to distribute SIS-posted reports to families without ParentVUE accounts. A FCPS This Week notice on 5/22 will alert families to expected delivery timelines.

  • iReady Grade 1-3 - expected in PVUE the week of 6/3 (non-PVUE delivery by the end of this year)
  • iReady Grade 4-6 - expected in PVUE the week of 6/24 (non-PVUE delivery before the start of next school year)
  • VKRP Grade PreK-K - expected central delivery via U.S. Mail the week of 7/8
