Community Connections
Each month, our principal Sarah Aiello, hosts a Community Connection session for parents and guardians. These meetings are opportunities to learn more about our school and to ask questions. Community connections are held in-person at Hutchison on 9:15am and the same session is presented that night at 7:00pm online on Zoom. You are welcome to join either sessions. All Community Connections are provided with Spanish translation. If you need translation in another language, please reach out to the school.
You will receive a text message 15 minutes prior to the start of the online meeting with a link to join. Most sessions end by 8:00pm. If you are unable to join us, you can view recordings of these online meetings at the top of this page.

Happening at Hutchison Newsletter
Each month you will be texted a link to Happening at Hutchison, our newsletter. You can access all issues of Happening at Hutchison here. The link begins with "hutchisones.fcps.edu." If you are not receiving messages from Hutchison, please call the school between 8:00am and 4:00pm at 703-925-8300. Our newsletter can be translated in many languages. Talking Points App 
Talking Points is a communication system that families can use to communicate with their child's teacher and with the school principal. Please download the FAMILIES | Talking Points app for the best experience receiving messages from Hutchison's leadership team and your child's teacher. You can download the app at the Google Play store here and from the Apple App store here.
Message from the Principal Videos
About once a month, Principal Aiello will record a video message for families. These video messages include important updates, upcoming events, and ways for parents/guardians to get involved. Families are sent the YouTube link for these videos through a text message or email through Talking Points. You can review past videos on Hutchison's YouTube Channel. These videos are provided with live Spanish translation but the Closed Caption feature of YouTube can be used to view captions in your home language.
